Summary: The maturity models are assessment tools that provide support for managing business processes, focusing on assessing the current maturity of these and identify the path of potential improvements. Uniquely among the many maturity, the Process and Enterprise Maturity Model (PEMM) is a model that suggests that the evaluation of maturity is performed differently between process maturity and organizational structure. Importantly, despite the potential, there are few researches on the respective maturity model and the impact of its dimensions on organizational performance. This research aims to contribute to a better understanding of the model by analyzing the degree of maturity of the structure and processes, and verifying their relationship to organizational performance.
