Summary: This research aims to propose and test a nomothetic model that can be used to analyze the relationship between the level of interorganizational integration and total cost of ownership, considering the relationship quality as a possible mediator of this relationship. It was observed that the relationship between these constructs is supported by the literature and by means of a questionnaire in Likert 5-point scale, the survey was applied to 128 carriers that providing service for e-commerce stores. Using a quantitative approach technique by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), it was found that the relationship quality mediates the relationship between the interorganizational integration and total cost of ownership, the mediation is observed the complete mediation, which means that is only possible relationship between interorganizational integration and total cost of ownership through the presence of relationship quality. Further study corroborates previous research to verify that the internal process integration acts as a predecessor of interorganizational integration. There was also the impact of first-order constructs of relationship quality, and we observed that communication has a greater effect on relationship quality.
