Summary: Considering the reality of Brazilian prison, especially of the state of Espírito Santo, the object of this study, the increase in the percentage of incarcerated women in the state and the massive deployment of resocialization programs in penal institutions throughout the country, it was found important the study about how the incarcerated women experience the resocialization programs, whose objectives are the promotion of professional training courses and job offer. Thus, the objective of this research is to analyze the discourse of prisoners and workers Penal Institution of the Espírito Santo on the resocialization programs involving job training and work, developed by the Department of Justice of the Espírito Santo and partners. Methodologically the data were produced by means of semi-structured interviews with thirty-six incarcerated women inserted in resocialization programs by work and thirteen workers of Sejus, direct observation, document analysis and field journal. After compiling the data, the interviews were transcribed and documents organized. As a form of data analysis was used discourse analysis of Michel Foucault. The survey results show that prison labor does not offer conditions for the resocialization of the incarcerated women, since it is not configured according to the logic of the flexible production system, as well as exclusion devices are not eliminated, but increased by prison.
