Summary: The objective of this dissertation is to comprehend, through the study in two grand mineral-siderurgical organizations, how the structure of their environmental management systems processes, in order to attend the pressure of their organizational field, and to verify if this pressure may be considered isomorphism in the sense of the homogeneity of the adopted practice by the two organizations in the search for solutions to attend the demands of this field. Through interviews and bibliographical research in institutional documents and through internet, this paper work depicts the main stakeholders and the types of pressure that each one carries out in the context of the construction of their environmental management entrepreneurial systems, as well as describes the main aspects of the environmental management in the organizations and also the motives for their adoption, confirming the tendency to isomorphism characterized by the similarity of the adopted practices in the processes or only in the parts that are common to both organizations.
