Summary: This dissertation aims to identify the main aspects in the business management of the productive furniture cluster in Linhares, Espírito Santo state, one of the seven biggest productive centers of furniture in Brazil, from the headline that there is a Business Culture in that local. It points the question of culture in organization, through the Brazilian culture, constructing the influence of the national culture parallel to the internal culture questions of the organizations. It makes an anthropological survey about the evolution of the culture concept, within the organization environment, from the scientific management, the human relationships school and the organizational development to nowadays. Then, the Business Culture term comes from this evolution. The concepts of productive clusters and their advantages in the global world are also explained. It is made, either, a characterization of the general view of the furniture sector in Linhares, in Brazil and the world. It is a case study accomplished with the people involved in the decision process and influent in the business culture of some main furniture
manufacturer enterprises of Linhares. The data were obtained by indirect
documentation, semi structured interviews and direct observations from nonparticipators. Afterwards, these data were qualitative categorized and presented as data analysis and treatment. Finally, common construction is identified from theorganizational actions and intentions, and also the initiative of the actors, by human subjectivity. Then, the Business Culture is evidenced, with its values and perceptions, in favor of the continuity and success of the local management activities.
