Summary: RPG games are fun and interactive ways of creating and telling a unique story. The research here developed proposed to comprehend this game as an organizing process, using organizing as ontological position to carry out such an association. Aiming to understand this process, I sought in Michel de Certeaus practices theory a theoretical foundation to compose the lens that would use for such investigation. Using an ethnographic research, I collected data that, when analyzed, resulted in an analytical model that discusses the practices that make up this process in three dimensions and allows its comprehension. The research model shows the central role played by the narrative practices in the RPG game and its ability to connect to other practices, while remaining a practice itself. This enunciative and performative practice is still little approached in studies that have Michel de Certeau as main theoretical base. In addition to this contribution, the resulting study model also enables us to bring discussions about material elements that had their importance observed and act in the organizational process.
