In relation to data analysis and interpretation, the coding technique was used. The results revealed that the principle of progress contributed to creative actions, acting in sustaining and promoting engagement for tasks, in the search for new ideas and problem solving, located during the different contexts of the creation process. In this context, creativity was found to be a process comprising cycles of progress and creativity during the creative process. As actors realized the sense of progress achieved, they produced positive experiences and, in turn, dedicated their efforts and skills to creative action and, even in the face of restrictions, when significant work was perceived, the cycle of progress and creativity persisted.
